This map shows, based on today’s borders, the division of the world in continents as used on StampWorldHistory. Please note that – following the traditions in the stamp collecting world as reflected by the setup of the Michel world wide catalog – some countries are discussed as part another continent than the one they geographically belong to. For example Greenland – part of the kingdom of Denmark – is discussed as part of Europe while geographically it is part of the Americas.
